Q1: Does the Pro version of Hardware Monitor report more monitoring information than the classic and free version ? A: No, the two programs have the exact same monitoring capabilities. Q2: Hardware Monitor Pro reports inconsistent monitoring values. What can I do ? A: Please save a dump as a txt file (menu File, then Save), then send it to that e-mail address : hwmonitorcpuid.com. Q3: I've downloaded the latest version of Hardware Monitor Pro, but the programs tells me that the update...
When I connect to my server computer via remote desktop HWMonitor stops displaying my GPU temperature (it doesn't even show my graphics card anymore). When I access the computer locally it displays it fine. How can I get around this? I am using Windows 7 professional on both computers.
Excuse me, Help my HWMonitor Doesn't show any Fan Speed or Temp from my Laptop, and i want ask if i gaming the core temp is 70 , is that normal? or weird? Regards Thanks
I have a machine that I'm monitoring that has an ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe MB. The Mainboard has three temps: TMPIN0, TMPIN1, TMPIN2. What do these temps correspond to?
Is it possible to make HWMmonitorPro run and log automatically at system boot? I don't see a line in the ini file they will start logging upon monitor startup, nor have I been so far able to schedule the monitor to run at system start though I'm competent at task schedule manipulation. Can you let me know what is and is not possible? Thanks for your help - ed
Hi, I think about buying HWMonitor Pro. But I wonder, if there is a way to start the programm having all former connections reconnected automaticly. Also, if a listening computer is comming up, the connection should be established automaticly, so all the running systems are shown on the viewing-computer without an user input and could be recorded... Thanks Dirk
How can you tell what is TZ5_ ?
Hi Franck, I don't know what is the point to release new version of HWMonitor and CPU-Z with incorrect values for Gigabyte Z68X..... As you are respected developer of this very useful applications, please do some adjustment!
Could anyone please explain me how is calculated the ACPI temperature (THRM) in HWMonitir Pro? I tried to google that, but still no luck, I didnt find a simple and straight answer. And I found literally anything from that it is only reading a sensor near northbridge?! - to methaphysical explanations that ACPI is only a fictional term so the temperature is a product of some strange formulas... Often, the answer was overdetailed tehnical theory that is hardly understandable even for IT...
Motherboard : MSI P67A-GD55 (chipset P67) Error : +12V showing +8.46V UEFI and MSI control center both report correct +12V. SMBus data CPUID SMBus Report -------------------------------------------------------------------------
HWmonitor is reading the +3.3v at 0.22v on my ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3, this is obviously not right. Everest and AMD Overdrive both read it accuratly @ 3.360v Is this a know bug? Anyone get the same behavior?
Hi Frank, I was wondering if it was possible to include the temperature monitoring of drives connected to a raid controller (ie LSI, Adaptec,...) in future versions of HWmonitor? A must should be to also add the temperature of the controller (I thing some of them have a temperature sensor) Thanks !
I currently have the trial version of Hardware Monitor Pro installed on SBS 2008. It is possible to setup or add Hardware Monitor Pro as a system server so I can remote monitor the system without logging into the server? I tried setting up a task to tell Hardware Monitor Pro to run at system startup, but that did not seem to work.
This program would be perfect if it had the feature of making it start with Windows minimized to tray. I realize that you can add this to the "Startup" folder, but there is no way to make it start minimized to tray; only minimized. I don't really like going through the effort of clicking "View" -> "Minimize to tray" every time I reboot. It's a little silly. I love this program and have considered purchasing it, but this is the only reason that I haven't. Please put this simple fix in...
I use HW Monitor to monitor the temperature status of my WHS. Please can you 1. have an option to start minimised to tray rather than screen 2. is it possibleto re connecet named connections at startup. When I start my PC I would like HW Monitor to automatically connect to the server, extract the system temperature and minimise to tray. I don't use HW Monitor to display my PC temperature (Speed Fan does this in a gadget)
But the free version does. ACPI temp. is also missing in the pro version for me. Why is this happening? Are these bugs in the pro version? I am running windows 7 64 bit. I am also using the HW Monitor Pro 64 bit stand alone. I also would like to note I made sure to use run as a admin. Here are some screen shots of the issue. Also using the latest official versions from the cpuid website.
Hi all, here a srcreen to see the difference between Uploaded with ImageShack.us So, as you can see, Hwinfo32 is really better with my configuration... +12V, and also +5 => very important for me many more usefull information for GPU on Hwinfo32
Hi, I sent you an email last week but thought I'd post here just in case. I have a Dell XPS M1730 gaming laptop with 2 NVidia 8800M GTXs in SLi and am wondering if HW Monitor Pro would be able to alter the fan speeds on the GPUs. I've included a dump if that helps... CPUID Hardware Monitor 1.1.4.0 -----------------------------------------------------
Hi! Hwmonitor doesn't show ANY voltage or fan speed readings on my system. Is there any way I can fix this? Here is a screenshot of how it looks: I'm also attaching hwmonitor save file and CPU-Z system info dump. Thank you! Edit: forgot to mention - I'm using version 1.15
I have HWM Pro 1.08.0 I go into HWM and change the descriptions, as an example I press "F2" change "CPUFANIN0" to "CPU Push" and press "Enter" and the description has changed. I do this to over half the descritions, I change them to something that means something to me. I close HWM, reopen HWM and the changes are there, but after a day or a few days the descriptions revert back to the original HWM description, so what was "CPU Push" now all of a sudden is back to "CPUFANIN0". What can...
I've got a Gigabyte 8I848PM motherboard and the BIOS reports: +12v - 11.686v whereas HWMonitor reports: +12v - 4.86v all the other voltages are about the same. HWMonitor identifies my chip as a Winbond W83627THF.
I'm running Windows 7 x86 benchmark tests on 4 Q57 based systems with i5 670 CPU and have HWMONITOR opened to monitor temperatures. Motherboards are Intel DQ57TM and ASUS P7Q57-M DO. During PCMARK VANTAGE tests running for 4 1/2 hours with HWMONITOR started all 4 systems will everntually cause a blue screen error. If I run the same tests without HWMONITOR started, there is no blue screen error. I've tried this multiple times with the same results. I never had such problems on Q35...
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my new computer and, I can not get either HWMonitor, or Core Temp to give me any Temp readings on my CPU! They both load up fine, HWMonitor accurately reads all my other Hard Ware... But it just says.. Zero, for my CPU. Any idea's why?
hello, my problem is exactly as the title say, cpu fan spins but hwmonitor readings for it are 0 rpm. it really scares me a bit, because i use hwmonitor for more than a year and never faced such a thing. and what's even stranger, this morning i got 'cpu fan error' in POST message. the mobo is Asus P5K. i immediately rushed to open the case, and saw the fan barely spinning, and in bios it was indicated at about 140 rpm. i have two auxiliary fans mounted to one side of main fan blowing at memory...
Hello, I have a HAF-932 with four fans and a CPU fan for a total of five fans. All fans are connected to a P6T Deluxe v2. HWMonitor Pro is not displaying one of the case fans at all. The readouts on the three case fans and CPU fan that it does display are fine. Everest Ultimate and SpeedFan display all four case fans and the CPU fan. How can I get HWMonitor Pro to display the missing fan? If it matters I am using Win7 Ult 64b with HWMonitor v1.08.
I'm currently using an HD 4870 paired with a 9600GT exclusively for PhysX, when I connect a monitor to the second card and maintain the extended desktop HW Monitor works fine but the moment I disconnect the monitor or disable it the program simply hangs after starting, it shows nothing and I need to manually close it. Don't know if this helps but the same thing was ocurring with CPU-Z, it freezed when it started loading the "graphics" info but with the last version it's working without any...
I just upgraded to a Pentium E6300, and was getting odd readings. So I installed the latest HWMonitor 1.15.0 132 and it's even weirder. CPU temps look about right from 20-25C. But Core#0 is stuck on 47C and core#1 is stuck on 33C. Neither ever change. Is this a problem with my cpu sensors or the software? It's a Gigabyte P35 mobo. Thanks.
Hello guys, i have a question about some of my voltage readings. I have a corsair psu and in hwmonitor the +12v rail is 11,90, but in bios it says that it is 12,54. Now when i look at hwmonitor it says that -12v is 12,54..... So which one is correct?? Why bios doesn't have same reading for +12v as hwmonitor? Same reading as the bios has the utility program of my motherboard.
Well so far I do not see much info in this application. I have sent a CPU-Z report as well. How often are updates done? Does it support Hard Drives? What about fan speeds? I hope this is not all there is for this app.
Hello, I sent in a support email with this same info, but just wanted to also post here, in case anyone else had any ideas. I recently upgraded my HP dv8327cl laptop's Pentium Core Duo T2600 CPU to a C2D T7600. Although everything is working great, HWMonitor is showing some VERY low readings. Intially, the temp is below freezing, which is impossible, being as the laptop is sitting in a 65 F house. Eventually, it warms up to about 65 to 70 F, but this is still very low for a CPU. ...
Hi I find It is unreadable or very hard to read under the win7 left shift + left alt + print screen high contrast theme. thanks this program is great!
